Microprecision waterjet cutting

  • Maximum precision
  • Fine surface finish
  • Delicate structures
  • No thermal issues (unlike laser cuttings)
  • No starter holes needed (unlike wire EDM)

The production of very small components can push conventional manufacturing processes to their limits. Many materials are sensitive to the effects of heat from thermal processes, such as laser machining. Other methods, such as wire EDM, micro machining, or punching are often not the optimal solution.

There are often gaps in the overlapping areas of established process technologies. DeSta microcut can fill or eliminate these gaps. Our micro waterjet is more precise than conventional waterjet cutting by a factor of 10, making it the most precise waterjet in the world.
